BANGALORE – MYSORE – NAGARHOLE NATIONAL PARK – HASSAN – CHITRADURGA FORT – HAMPI – HUBLI – GOKARNA – GOA.
This tour covers the famous beaches of Goa, Gokarna, 1000 years temples, and forts in Hubli, Hampi, Chitradurga, and Hassan. The wildlife of Nagarhole national park and the maharaja city of Mysore with its bazaars, temples, and palaces is another highlight of this tour. The southern part of India is called South India, covering the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. South India is also known as Dravida is used in the National Anthem of India. A majority of South Indians speaks Dravidian language: Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. Other languages spoken in South India are English and Hindi. The Culture of South India is very similar to South Asia & Southeast Asia because many dynastic Kingdoms of South India ruled over South and Southeast Asia. South India is essentially the celebration of the eternal universe through the celebration of the beauty of the body and motherhood which is exemplified through their dance, clothing, and sculptures. Rice is the main diet all over south India, while fish is an integral component of coastal South Indian meals.
Itinerary
Day 1
ARRIVE IN CHENNAI / DELHI / BANGALORE
We will meet you at Airport and transfer you to your Hotel. Because fellow group members may be arriving on different flights, we will wait to meet the fellow group members on the next day at the breakfast table and the staff at the dinner table.
Day 2
CHENNAI / DELHI – BANGALORE – MYSORE
Today we rise very early to board our flight to Bangalore. On arrival in Bangalore, we will be transferred to our Mysore by minibus which takes approx. 3 – 4 Hrs. Upon arrival at your Hotel in Mysore.
Day 3
AT MYSORE
Post breakfast we’ll hold a briefing to cover safety precautions, touring style, road conditions, and check of personal equipment, with time to select our bikes and become familiar with starting procedures, control layouts, and bike handling. Today we have a trial ride in and around Mysore the Palace, Temple, and Sri Ranganpatnam.
Day 4
MYSORE – NAGARHOLE(100 KMS / 2 – 3 HRS)
Post breakfast we hit the roads through the side road to Rajiv Gandhi National Park which was a private hunting ground for the erstwhile maharaja of Mysore. Enjoy the Jeep Safari in the national park in the evening.
Day 5
NAGARHOLE – HASSAN (140 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS)
Post breakfast we drive on the same route till Hunsur and further divert our way through small road to Hassan. We will visit Belur&Halebidu temples today.
Day 6
HASSAN – CHITRADURGA (186 KMS / 5 – 6 HRS)
Post breakfast we continue our journey to Chitradurga, Famous for the Chitradurga Fort is renowned for its KallinaKote / Ukinnakote / YeluSuttinakote which was built in parts by the Palegar Veer “MadakariNayaka”
Day 7
CHITRADURGA – HAMPI (160 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS)
Today we will ride to the world-famous UNESCO Heritage ruins of Hampi”If dreams were made out of stone, it would be Hampi” The fascinating ruins of the 15th-century city of Vijayanagar, near the village of Hampi, are set in an extraordinary landscape of giant granite boulders, lush paddies, and banana plantations. The clock seems to have stopped at this World Heritage site, and you can spend a surprisingly large amount of time gazing at the weirdly balanced rocks, wondering how millions of years of erosion could achieve such formations. Given its magical atmosphere, Hampi is a major pit stop on the traveler circuit. The ruins cover a wide area, but it’s possible to see the main sites in a day or two.
Day 8
AT HAMPI
Visit the 1,000 years old ruins, magic temples and boulders
Day 9
HAMPI – HUBLI (170 KMS / 5 – 6 HRS)
Post breakfast we will start our ride towards the west coast of India. Arriving Hubli by lunchtime. Evening visit the Temple.
Day 10
HUBLI – GOKARNA (150 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS)
Today we ride to Gokarna village, a small holy village on the west coast famous for Hindu pilgrims and not much for the tourist. You will be very happy to see them clean and clear beaches of India.
Day 11
GOKARNA – GOA (150 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS)
Today we ride on the western coastal road through Karwar city to Goa, the famous tourist spot all over the world. The palm trees dot the white beaches and a nice sea breeze keeps you cool through the entire ride to Goa.
Day 12
AT GOA
Last day of our riding, today we visit the famous beaches & churches of Goa.
Day 13
GOA – CHENNAI / DELHI / BANGALORE
Post breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight to Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai transfer to your hotel.
Day 14
AT CHENNAI / DELHI / BANGALORE
Day tour by minibus.
Day 15
CHENNAI / DELHI / BANGALORE
Transfer to the Airport to board the flight back home.
